After School Programs At The Harlan Christian Youth Center
Our after school programs are free of charge! We hold programs for grades K-12 and have a great attendance. Whether it’s Woodlan, Leo, private schools or home school, we have a great diversity of children/youth from the surrounding communities!
We offer the following after school activities:
- Snacks and hang out time
- Homework and study assistance
- Bible lessons, quizzing and worship songs
- Drug and suicide prevention
- Cooking classes
- Physical activities and teamwork related games
- Off site trips and camps
K-6 After School Programs
Monday & Wednesday- 4-6 grade
Tuesday & Thursday- K-3 grade
Our after school programs are from 3:00-4:45. In the event of a school closing, HCYC will be closed. We also follow the EACS schedule for holidays and breaks.
Tuesday evenings from 6:00-7:30.
Grades 7-12 are welcome. Snacks, lessons, games and off site activities are some examples of what happens on a typical evening.
Special education and disabilities group- First and third Monday of each month from 6:30-7:30.
All ages are welcome to attend. We have attendees from all the surrounding communities.
